MAYOR KATHY SHEEHAN
On behalf of the City of Albany, I welcome you to the Albany Neighborhood Portal. The goal of this site is to provide an interactive place where you can get information on quality of life services in Albany. Within this site you will be able to peruse frequently asked questions, request certain City services, sign up for the City’s Department of General Services programs, and lend your opinions regarding ideas and data collections pertaining to DGS and the City of Albany.
With a population of nearly 100,000 people, it is important that our residents are being heard and maintaining open communication is the best way to ensure that quality of life remains a priority.
WELCOME TO THE CITY OF ALBANY NEIGHBORHOOD PORTAL
THIS ONLINE PORTAL SERVES AS A SPRINGBOARD FOR NEWS & QUALITY OF LIFE INFORMATION CRITICAL TO CITY OF ALBANY RESIDENTS.
I would like welcome you to the City of Albany's Neighborhood Web Portal. As I visited several neighborhoods around the city the one common observation is that there is a disconnect between City government and the residents they serve.
This is especially seen when it comes to communication regarding quality of life issues.
It is my hope that this Neighborhood Web Portal will help open the line of communication between the city and the residents and together we can make Albany the best place to call home.
Thank you
