The City of Albany offers free Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events as a way for Albany residents to dispose of HHW in an easy, safe and responsible way. There are 5 HHW events scheduled for this spring:
Albany Department of General Services sponsors two free paper shredding events each year. Albany residents can bring documents to be shred and they will be shred on site. DGS also collects hard and soft cover books for recycling.
